The book “Tea Cultures of Europe: Heritage and Hospitality” by Prof. Dr. Hartwig Bohne Bohne has been published by De Gruyter! Katrīna Wild and Gundega Silniece also had the honour to contribute a chapter mentioning Tea Tea Me. 📚
This chapter explored the concept of niche tea tourism, tea production and tourism in Europe, tea education, and innovative digital applications for tea. 🍵🌱
However, it would not have been possible without the contributions of several people: the correspondents offering their insights, including Nishchal Banskota (Nepal Tea Collective, PBC.), Anil Cooke (Ceylon Tea Roadmap), Prof. Amnaj Khaokhrueamuang (University of Shizuoka), Prof. Lee Jolliffe (Routledge Handbook of Tea Tourism), Denis Shumakov (TeaTips.Ru), Vincent Liu (MyTeaPal App), Tristan Otto (Steeped App), Gaëlle Rousseau (Jardins de Thé), Hassan Afshari (Tea Masters Cup Iran), Amy Jones, and Hannes Saarpuu (Renegade Tea Estate, Georgia). Additional thanks go to the proofreaders Gavin A. Carre, Martin Snášel, Prof. Lee Jolliffe, and Clare Butcher.
The book is a beautiful investigation into the tea culture phenomenon in Europe. From samovars in the East, Dresmer blue porcelain in Germany, tulip glasses in Turkey, silver teapots in Great Britain, the first tea plantations in Portugal and Georgia, etc. 🍃✨
Worth adding to your tea library! 🫖
