🔥 THE BUILD-UP WAS JUST AS GOOD! 🔥

Big respect to Black Knight Sound System who got everything perfectly set up the day before, ready to bring that authentic, powerful reggae vibe to our Windrush Heritage Community Family Day on June 20th 🎚️💯

The sound was absolutely incredible – crystal clear, full of warmth and pure reggae spirit. It set the perfect tone and played such a huge part in making the whole day so special and unforgettable for everyone there!

A special moment at today’s Windrush Day flag-raising ceremony was welcoming pupils from Good Shepherd Primary School, New Addington, who are currently learning about the Windrush Generation.

Croydon is proud to be home to one of the largest Windrush communities in the UK. Whenever I meet our Windrushers, I am in awe of their resilience, determination and contribution.
