The Social Change Nest CIC

The Social Change Nest CIC We tear down the barriers that prevent people from creating change.

We do this by providing impact-led fiscal hosting, grant distribution, grant management, capacity building and infrastructure support to changemakers around the world.

Just launched: Fiscal Hosting survey for funders ✅

If you work for a funder, we need your help! Please tag, share and shout from your rooftop to get our short survey completed by the right person.

We want to find out how many funders accept fiscal hosts, how fiscal hosting is talked about, and what’s stopping you from using a fiscal host if you don’t. We want fiscal hosting to be a common term, and we want more funding applications to be open to unincorporated groups - but to shift the landscape we need to know where you’re at now.

Please help us by completing the survey here by Tuesday, 30th July, 2026 👇

✨ We really value place-based work here at The Social Change Nest, and love supporting those with lived experience ✨

That’s why we’re still not over the insightful conversation we had with Giving and Community Bridgebuilders during our most recent podcast episode 🎙️

Funders, local authorities and larger organisations are increasingly talking about shifting power, listening to communities, and supporting change from the ground up. But what does that actually look like in practice, and what happens when communities are not just asked for their opinions, but trusted to shape decisions, direct funding, and influence what happens in the places where they live?

Take a look at this quick round-up of what we discussed 👇

We’re looking forward to catching up with a lot of our groups at London Climate Action Week this month 🌎

While we love a big climate moment, we also know that rest and joy are an essential part of this work. This is why we’re organising an informal and relaxed community lunch at our office (only 5 minutes away from Farringdon station!).

📆 Thursday 23rd June, 2026
⏰ 12PM - 2PM

If you wish to join us, please RSVP by emailing [email protected]. We’d love to see you.
