What exactly is the Bromley Homeless Big Sleep Out? 🤔

Each year, a group of volunteers spend a night sleeping outside at Bromley Parish Church to raise money for people experiencing homelessness in the Bromley Borough. Last year 22 sleepers raised £30,000 in one night. This year our target is 50. ⛺️

It's community of people doing something that matters.

On 20th July 2026, Andy Burnham became the UK's new Prime Minister, and among his first pledges was a commitment to end rough sleeping in the UK.

At Bromley Homeless, we welcome any commitment to tackling homelessness at a national level. We know from our work on the ground that rough sleeping is complex, and that real change requires sustained investment in housing, mental health support and outreach services.

We'll be watching with hope and continuing to do what we do every day regardless.

Join us for an afternoon of gospel music, good company and delicious refreshments, all in aid of Bromley Homeless🎶☕

The Gospel Tea Party is taking place on Saturday 22nd August, 12:30pm–3:00pm at Bromley United Reformed Church, and promises to be a wonderful afternoon with live entertainment, a raffle and prizes.

Tickets are £40 and include tea party refreshments, entertainment and your contribution to supporting those facing homelessness in Bromley. Please include any dietary requirements or celebration information when purchasing.

At Bromley Homeless, there are lots of ways to get involved that can fit around your life, your skills and your schedule — including remotely.

We will soon be recruiting volunteers for our winter night shelter — watch this space for more information on how to get involved.

In the meantime, we're particularly looking for a Volunteer Webmaster to help support our online presence. It's a flexible, remote-friendly role that can be done in your own time.
