⏪ Throwback to ScotJam 2026! ⏪

We caught up with Callum Holt, Lead Volunteer for Programme, to look back at ScotJam 2026 and hear what made the events so special, including some exciting new additions for Explorers this year.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the events for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers possible. Your hard work, energy and smiles brought each event to life. 💛

If your section missed out in the initial applications, this is your chance to join us for a weekend packed with adventure, activities, camping and birthday celebrations at Fordell Firs! 🎂🌲

What a week it's been at ScotJam: Explorers! 🌟

From bushcraft and sailing to multi-activity adventures, our Explorers have embraced every challenge, whatever the weather. They even enjoyed a day trip into Glasgow, exploring Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and hunting down the city's famous Maggie's Scotties.

As the final event of ScotJam 2026 comes to a close, we're so proud of every young person and volunteer who made it such a memorable experience. Here's to an incredible summer of adventure, and we can't wait to see what ScotJam 2027 has in store!

Yesterday we did something a little different ... our Explorers headed down the road to Glasgow. As part of the visit, they found some of the Maggie's Scotties in the City and explored the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum.

It's been a little damp this week so far at ScotJam: Explorers, but that certainly hasn't stopped our Explorers making the most of every opportunity.

Here's a selection of photos from our Multi-Activity, Bushcraft and Power & Sail groups, who have embraced the adventure whatever the weather.

Tomorrow we're doing something a little different, heading into Glasgow to soak up the atmosphere of the Commonwealth Games.

🎉 What a week at ScotJam Cubs! 💚

Last week, Cubs from across Scotland headed to Lochgoilhead for an unforgettable few days of adventure, while helping us celebrate 10 years of ScotJam! 🥳

From the very first ScotJam for Cubs in 2017 to events now for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers (plus ScotJam at Home in 2020 and ScotJam on Tour in 2021), it's been an incredible 10 years of adventure, friendship and memories.

And this year's Cubs certainly made their mark!

🏅 276 activity badges were earned over the week, including Paddlesport Stage 1, Nautical Skills Stage 1, Navigator Stage 2 and the Adventure Challenge Award. Every Cub headed home with four badges, plus their ScotJam badge. What an achievement! 👏

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers for making the magic happen, and to every Cub who threw themselves into every challenge with smiles, determination and plenty of Scouting spirit.

Today the Cubs Celebrated 10 years of ScotJam at Scout Adventures Lochgoilhead when we had our first event in 2017 with Cubs. We now have events for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. In 2020 we had ScotJam at Home, and in 2021, we took ScotJam on Tour around Scotland.
Scouts Scotland
