For our next session this Sunday 31st May, we're going to be visiting Three Hares Community Woodland to help with some maintenance and to have a look around the woods!

The playgroup organisers are unable to run the playgroup tomorrow as both little ones are not well.

All booking will be contacted and playgroup will be back on next week 🥰

Our next Wild Kidz session is next Sunday, 10th May! We're going to explore Dalkeith Country Park and learn about the history (look at the old buildings), landscaping (find some really big and really old trees), and we might even see some bluebells!

Wild Kidz is free for young people aged 8 - 16 who live in Midlothian!

Wild Kidz is a free, outdoor youth club for young people aged 8 - 16 who live in Midlothian. We do hammocks in the woods, bug hunting, cloud spotting, toad protecting, bird spotting, map following, tree measuring, plant identifying and generally have loads of fun outdoors (whatever the weather!).

Sessions are free and open access - you can come to one, or you can come to all. Sometimes we have a theme, and sometimes we just have fun. Booking is essential via bookwhen.com/growingfamilies

🎉 Exciting news! We're thrilled to announce an additional day for our Loanhead Playgroup, starting this Tuesday 28th April at The Link!

Join us every Tuesday for a fun-filled session where little ones can play, explore, and make new friends — and where parents and carers can connect with others in the community. 💛

Join us any time during these drop in sessions to help get Loanhead Community Garden growing!

These sessions are suitable for primary school aged young people, or younger if you bring an adult.

You can book a space if you want to tell us you're coming, or just turn up on the day. You can stay for as long as you like - the whole session or just a bit!

We will assume that young people who come to sessions without booking or an adult are able to be responsible for themselves.

Adults can get involved too - or you can sit and enjoy the sunshine :-)
