Llanrwst United Junior Section is looking for a new Secretary – but please don't scroll past because you think you need a background in football or sport.

You don't.

We're not necessarily looking for someone who has spent years on the touchline or been involved in a sports club before. What matters most to us is finding someone who is organised, approachable, and passionate about being part of a thriving community club that provides opportunities for hundreds of local children.

This role is about:
⚽ Supporting our volunteers and coaches
⚽ Helping keep the junior section organised
⚽ Being part of a fantastic team of people who care deeply about our young players
⚽ Giving something back to the local community

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, have experience in administration, or simply want to become more involved in a club that sits at the heart of the Conwy Valley, we'd love to hear from you.

You won't be expected to do it alone – there is plenty of support available from the existing committee and volunteers.

Come and watch international football at the racecourse

Fantastic from the under 15 girls yesterday to turn up with just 10 players and play 80 minutes against a Rhyl side that played with 11. They showed such a positive attitude and not stop working until the end was fantastic.

We caused Rhyl a lot of problems and considering they had 16 players so were always able to make subs and have fresh legs speaks volumes for our girls they were great.

Our player of the match goes to Arwen who was playing her first ever game
Rhyl gave player of the match to Alaw Cawley.

📢 Club Announcement – Llanrwst United Football Club

Llanrwst Utd are proud to announce an important step forward in the history of our club. We are delighted to confirm that the club has now formed Llanrwst United Football Club Ltd by Guarantee, giving us a new legal status and a stronger foundation for the future.

The new structure will be led by a Board of Directors:

This move follows a long period of hard work behind the scenes and unites all three sections of the club – Seniors, Juniors and Walking Football – under one structure.

With 22 teams and over 330 registered players, this change will help strengthen and unify Llanrwst Utd as one of the leading football clubs in Conwy County as we move into the 2025/26 season and beyond.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made yesterday’s End of Season Presentation Day for the junior section of Llanrwst Utd FC such a brilliant success!

There are too many amazing people and businesses to thank individually, so we’d like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who supported the day — whether you donated cakes, sausage rolls, burgers, sausages, raffle prizes, or your time. 🙌

Massive appreciation to all the volunteers who helped from start to finish — from setting up at 8am to packing everything away, and to those who ran stalls and supervised the inflatables. 🏰🎯

We’re incredibly proud to share that we now have 269 players registered in the junior section! 👏 Just medals and trophies alone cost around £900, and it’s only thanks to your continued support that we’re able to sustain the club and keep providing opportunities for these young players to grow, learn, and enjoy the game.

To our players — thank you for your dedication and hard work this season.
