Happy Saturday everyone! ☀️
A little bit late posting today because the shop shuts at 3pm and somehow it’s already quarter past 2 😅 so there’s probably not much point advertising for today now!
Firstly, thank you so much to everybody who has come in and supported us today ❤️ It’s not been overly busy, but it’s been a lovely sunny day with a really nice atmosphere in town.
We’ve had lots going on outside too today! The Outlaws biker group came through town on their Harleys — definitely noisy 😅 but always quite something to see ride through. Sadly there was an incident involving one of the bikes and a little car, so we just wanted to say we genuinely hope everybody involved is okay and recovering well. Ambulance and police attended, and thankfully the police arrived very quickly.
It was a shame seeing a few unkind comments being made. At the end of the day, these are people out enjoying a hobby, spending time together and supporting different causes and communities too. We’ve personally always found bikers polite and respectful whenever they’ve come into town or into the shop ❤️
Also sending sympathy to the owner of the little open-top car involved too — not exactly how either party expected their sunny Saturday to go bless them.

We’ve even got swimsuits, jackets and wedding dresses out the back 👀
So if you don’t see what you’re looking for, please just ask us! Depending how busy we are, we’re always happy to check out the back for different sizes, styles or hidden treasures 😊
Also a little heads up — next Saturday the shop will be run by one of our lovely volunteers as myself and Lauren will be attending Machynlleth Pride 🏳️🌈 Lauren will be there with her beautiful little whimsical shop, Cwtch Kath ❤️ selling all sorts of magical and unusual treasures including mystical bits, rainbow goodies, skull décor, fairy-inspired items, retro and vintage pieces, handmade catnip toys, handmade clothing and lots of wonderfully quirky things you won’t find everywhere else 😊
I’ll also be there promoting Karen’s Cat Community and spreading awareness about the rescue and the work we do for the cats 🐾
And Lauren is very kindly letting me run a little “Name the Cat” game on the stall too 😹 so if you’re attending Pride, please come over and say hello!
