With a quiet start in August due to renovations, we’re very happy with the progress being made. The variety of activities we’ve had in those times have been awesome too.

Autumn Fayre - What's on in Llanidloes 2 - the sequel.

For all those looking to see what the latest renovations to the community centre look like in the flesh - the first opportunity is the Llanidloes Autumn Fayre, being held next Saturday 13 September, 10am - 4pm. Building on last year's successful 'What's on in Llanidloes?' this sequel event aims to introduce people to all sorts of activities and projects that are available in the area, as well as providing an opportunity for local artisans to show case their wares. The community centre will have a stall where you can find out info about the recent renovations, plans for the future and a photo show giving a glimpse of the rich history of the centre in the life of Llanidloes since it was opened back in the 1960s.

Our friends at PAVO will also be present to engage with people about thoughts on the state of Llanidloes and to collate ideas for future projects that can add to the vibrancy of the local community in years to come.

We are moving on up with our renovation programme! Here are the 3 stages of the Bailey Room renovation. Old floor covering removed by CES City Environmental Services, fresh new floor laid by Spooner Flooring. Bar front painted by a keen volunteer. Walls next….
