Volunteers' Week 2026

This week is Volunteers' Week, and we are incredibly fortunate to have an amazing team of Volunteer Trustees, alongside a dedicated group of volunteers who support many different aspects of our facility.

As we move through 2026, we continue to uphold the same ethos established by our predecessors in 1920, to provide the very best service we can while keeping our facilities affordable and accessible to everyone in the community.

By rolling up our sleeves and doing as much as possible ourselves, we are able to achieve that goal. It takes commitment, dedication, and a lot of hard work, but moments of appreciation make it all worthwhile.

Recently, our Trustee, Sarah, was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a thoughtful thankyou card from Brynna Under 13s.

Sarah, Adrian and Martin also received a selection of bottles from Llanharan FC as a token of appreciation.

The bottles will be donated as prizes for our next raffle – although if you win, you might want to choose something else, they're empty! 😜

A simple thank you always brings a smile, but when people go out of their way to show their appreciation with such thoughtful gestures, it truly warms our hearts.

To all of our volunteers, past and present, thank you for everything you do. Your time, dedication, and kindness help make our community stronger every single day.
