It was a beautiful evening by the Straits last night where WI members enjoyed a bowls 'taster evening' with Menai Bridge Bowling Club. There was plenty of fun, chat and laughter as we were taught how to bowl and then had some competitions.

The grass is looking really parched due to this summer weather, but we were not thanks to a lovely panad in the clubhouse with cake.

This event was made possible by the NFWI Denman grant as part of our EmpowerHer project.

Members of our Federation have had a wonderful, enjoyable, and tiring day at the Royal Welsh Show in Llanelwedd / Builth Wells. We were pleased to meet this year's organisers of the NFWI-Wales stand and appreciate all the work they put into representing the WI at this special event.

Llaneilian WI organised this foraging event for members of AFWI with support from our EmpowerHer Denman grant.

They went foraging in nearby lanes and on the beach, then returned to their hall to taste what they had found along with items brought along by Jules. It was a memorable day with some unusual taste experiences.

Members of various WIs enjoyed an afternoon together today funded by the Denman grant for our EmpowerHer Wellness programme. Hearing Esther's story about setting up her business locally was truly inspiring. Thank you, Esther, for all you do.

Just been to the prettiest WI over at Llaneilian to deliver my Move Well Age Well Workshop - thank you for having me! I had a great time and a lovely welcome 🥰☺️

The first of the two Roadshow's from Physio Môn was very successful, and a further event is planned for next week in Llaneilian.

You don't need to be a WI member to come along to the hall belonging to Llaneilian WI to meet us and find out more about how to look after ourselves.

After a potential resolution a couple of years ago about recycling used medicines blister packs, one of our Wis found out that they could get them recycled in Boots, Bangor.

Well done, Llanfairpwll-Gwyngyll WI, for saving so many blister packs going to landfill and getting them recycled properly. The picture is of some of this months recycling - and they have been doing this for over a year!
