❓ Do you, or someone you know, help look after someone ❓

Realising you're an unpaid carer is the first step to knowing your rights and accessing information and support you are entitled to.

For many people, they often see what they do as part of being someone’s partner, parent, family member, friend or neighbour. Help us raise awareness this !

This year will be on Thursday 19th November and this year, the campaign poses a question “Someone you know is a carer… but do they know it yet?”

Carers Rights Day 2026 will highlight the importance of identifying unpaid carers. We know it can take on average two years for someone to identify themselves as an unpaid carer. Meaning they are missing out on vital information and support.

Time Out for Carers Fund aims to increase the availability and accessibility of short breaks and to support projects providing personalised breaks for all unpaid carers in Pembrokeshire.
