❤️ Llanelli Branch RBL at Parc y Scarlets! 🌺

We’re at Parc y Scarlets today for the game against Benetton, with kick-off at 5:30pm! 🏉

As it’s National Cadet Week, we’re delighted to be joined by our fantastic Army Cadets, who are supporting us as we raise awareness of the Royal British Legion and the work we do to support our Armed Forces community, veterans and their families.

A huge thank you to the Scarlets for welcoming us and giving us this fantastic opportunity to be part of today’s matchday! ❤️

Thank you also to our Army Cadets for joining us and representing the next generation of community spirit and remembrance.

If you’re at the game today, come and say hello! 👋

🌺 HELP US FILL OUR GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE 🌺

This was our Garden of Remembrance in Llanelli last year.

This Remembrance, we want to make it even more special — and we need your help.

From 24th October we are inviting the people of Llanelli and surrounding communities to place a Remembrance cross in the designated area in front of the Cenotaph at Llanelli Town Hall.

Each cross represents someone remembered. A name. A life. A story.

Whether you are remembering a loved one, family member, friend, comrade, someone who served, or simply someone whose memory you wish to honour, we would love for you to add your cross.

Our aim is simple: to fill the garden. 🌺

Imagine this space filled with hundreds of crosses — a powerful and moving tribute created by the people of Llanelli.

📍 Llanelli Town Hall Gardens – in front of the Cenotaph

For more information about placing a cross, please contact Llanelli Branch Royal British Legion or Llanelli Town Council.

Help us fill the garden. Help us remember.

We Will Remember Them. 🌺

✈️ A wonderful evening at 1054 (Llanelli) Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets! 1054 Llanelli Squadron Air Cadets

It was a real delight for members of Llanelli Branch Royal British Legion to be invited to celebrate the official opening of the newly refurbished Air Cadets unit in Llanelli, which was officially opened by Dame Nia Griffith.

We were proud to join the celebrations and enjoy a fantastic display from the Pipes and Drums, who certainly added something special to the occasion! 🥁🎶

The newly refurbished unit provides a fantastic space for the next generation of young people to learn, develop new skills, build confidence and make lasting friendships.

1054 (Llanelli) Squadron is now recruiting new members, so if you know a young person who might be interested in joining the Royal Air Force Air Cadets, this is a great opportunity to find out more.

From all of us at Llanelli Branch RBL, congratulations to 1054 Squadron, and thank you for inviting us to share such a special occasion. We look forward to continuing our links and supporting the next generation of cadets in Llanelli.
