Don't know about you but we don't think we were ever actually taught how to listen properly. We hear people all day of course but really listening, the kind where someone feels truly heard? That's a whole different skill.
That's why we're so excited to be hosting this course at Antioch.
Over three sessions, Jan Hedges from SYCLS is going to teach us the stuff nobody tells you:
✅ How to sit with someone in silence without rushing to fill it.
✅ How to create a space where people actually feel safe to open up.
✅ How to ask the right question at the right moment instead of the wrong one at the worst moment (Nope, that's not just you! ☺️)
Whether you're in a caring role, you volunteer, or you just want to be a better friend, partner or parent, we think this one's for all of us.
