🌸This Mother’s Day we celebrate the care, guidance and encouragement that help girls grow.

To the mums, grandmothers, godmothers, carers and incredible leaders who support girls to build confidence and discover their potential, thank you.

We are also thinking of those who may find today difficult. However today looks for you, you are part of our guiding community. 💙

🌟This week at Guides we held a bring a friend night 🌟

We made some tasty sherbet 🍭 and got crafty making some hand painted wine glasses for Mothers Day 💐

This term at Guides we built some shelters as part of our engineering interest badge and an engineering challenge badge🔨🌉⛺️

We also created our own potato pets and played a game which showed us how it can sometimes be difficult to look after a pet 🐶🐱

This week at 3rd Llanelli Guides we celebrated World Thinking Day 🌍

We read the Thinking Day story and had a competition to see which patrol could make the most creative world trefoil 👩‍🎨🎨

✨We are on the lookout for some amazing new volunteers to join 1st Llangennech Rainbows 🌈 ✨

What is a Rainbow unit? 🤔

Rainbows welcomes all girls aged 4-7 for play, learning and tons of fun in a colourful, safe space. 🎨🦋🐝

They meet regularly in groups, called units. These meetings are run by volunteer teams, usually made up of adult leaders, helpers and young leaders who work together to plan and deliver awesome activities for girls.

📍📅1st Llangennech Rainbows meets every Wednesday in Llangennech.
