Tonight our juniors did a session on STEM that was about the relationship between density, volume, and buoyancy through experimenting with floating eggs in water with different salt levels!

Also, they learnt about the links between specific human behaviours and their environmental and social outcomes .

In addition, a huge congratulations to JCFC Oscar for gaining his Green (Outdoor and Recreation) Badge!

Tonight the unit had its AGM and the cadets enjoyed completing a task.
Both juniors and seniors got together to design a bear and then the UMT and staff decided which one was the best.
Also congratulations to Cadet Dexter for his basic marine engineering and Junior Cadet first class Oscar received his blue and yellow modules.
Blue for water activities and yellow for community.

Congratulations to cadet first class Heidi and cadets Kai and Dexter on completing their bronze DofE training expedition this weekend.
Two days of walking and one night under canvas, with them being self sufficient by cooking their own food as well as navigating themselves.
A fun and challenging experience for them to remember.
