Brilliant day in Carmarthen for World Mental Health Day. Thank you to the amazing people associated with The Early Intervention Psychosis Service, from the totally brilliant staff to the totally inspiring service users! They handmade all kinds of Christmas and Halloween decorations, Christmas cards, and baked cakes, all to raise funds, some of which will help us continue our work in the community by providing free music workshops in our area. Music has such a positive effect on our mental wellbeing. It gives us a way to express ourselves and encourages us not to turn our feeling inwards but allows us the vehicle to get everything out in the open. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Music Factory: Community, presents a free music workshop in Llanelli Library on Saturday 21st Sept 1-3 pm. We are sharing the space with the record fair so you can come and try out some instruments with our team of tutors on hand to help you out, and then go and browse through the records to find a hidden gem.

Music Factory: Community is a non-profit that is committed to making music accessible to everyone, boots on ground, investing in the musical community in our town and beyond. There are more musicians in the world because of these workshops. Music is a wonderful thing that makes you feel better. It gives you a way to express yourself, and promotes mental wellbeing so we can have a town full of happy music makers.

We had the privilege of being part of the Family Day at over the summer holidays. It was raining sideways but everyone was still smiling! If you would like more information on this brilliant charity, please visit https://www.whizz-kidz.org.uk They really are wonderful. A big thank you to the boys too who came to our rescue, parking their van next to us, fastening tarpaulin to act as a makeshift shelter and keeping us in business. Diolch boys, you Rawk!
