One of our volunteers has a pup that just ♥️ LOVES ♥️ fruit and veg

Some of their favourites are

🥒 cucumber
🍉 melon
🥦 broccoli
🍓strawberries
🫘 runner beans

and it got us to thinking, does your pup have any favourites?

As the weather warms up, so the adders 🐍 come out.

You may find them basking in the sun with sand dunes, rocky areas or heathland being favourites spots

They are quite common in West Wales so it’s important to know how to deal with a suspected bite.

⚠️ If an adder snake bites your dog, it can be severe, and in extreme cases, fatal. 🐍

We don’t rescue hedgehogs but we are Alpet’s after all!

Scammers will stoop to any level to take your money!

If you’re donating to an animal charity through an online platform please do some checks

- do they have a website or social media
- try a reverse image search of the “injured animal” it may have been used multiple times already
- are updates being posted on the animals recovery

Think with your head 🧠 not just your heart ❤️

Unwitting donors hand over money to save suffering animals but Ugandan con artists pocket the cash.
