Everyone here at Open Door Scotland hopes you had a lovely Burns night! We celebrated this evening with some haggis, neeps and tatties! Thankyou so much to The Paterson's Bakery for their donations of shortbread and Tunnock's for their teacakes! The young people had a great night trying new things! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Open Door would like to take the opportunity to thank Dunelm for their donations for Christmas Gifts. Every year, Dunelm support us with ensuring all of the young people in the service receive something to open at Christmas time. For some, Christmas isn't always the easiest time of the year, and as a collective, we will work together to ensure the young people we work with will receive something to open this year 🌲🎁

Recently at Open Door Scotland, staff have been attending some training courses. This has included working with Outcome Stars. Outcome stars provide us with our Support planning method, which is beneficial to young people, as they can see how they progress whilst in the service! This also ensures that we have the best knowledge and can give the young people the best start to independent living. We are always looking to increase our knowledge and resources to ensure that we can support young people in the best way we know 😀 Thank you to Warren from Outcome Stars for attending!
