Another excellent talk last night by Iain McFadyen on astrophotography. Some amazing images of our universe delivered in an entertaining way. Lots of information as to how the images are taken, fascinating.

It's been a week since our wonderful trip to the falconry at Rothiemurchus This is our second time visiting the facility and we were delighted to add the formidable Goshawk to the species available for photography.

Thank you for such a cracking trip and hospitality from those involved. Here are some pictures from our members Tom, Aileen, Jim and Alasdair. Also to Roddy for organising the outing, your efforts are very much appreciated!

Last Monday we had a brilliant presentation from Molly Holman who shared her amazing flower images and also shared her techniques. Quite inspirational with members trying some of her ideas.

We had another excellent evening on Monday. A return Zoom session with Tracy Lund, she is an amazing wildlife photographer and shared some of her brilliant images with us. She is also a very engaging speaker with some lovely stories to back up her images.

We had an excellent talk last night from Julian Elliot, his images were amazing and the presentation was friendly and informative. This is the second time we have had Julian as a speaker and he doesn’t disappoint.

An excellent Zoom session last night. Tony North spoke to us about macro photography, some amazing images, excellent advice on how to do macro and all done in a way that kept everyone engaged the whole time.

This Monday we had to talks given by club members, one on blending bracketed images and one an introduction to Lightroom. A lot of work went into these presentations and, I am sure, we all learnt something new. Thank you to Andy and Tom for all their hard work.

A great night last night. We were entertained by Rob Bruce who showed us some amazing ages of the area where he lives near Torridon plus one or two from far away places. His talk was very relaxed and entertaining taking us through what he is trying to show in his images which was a lot more than just the scene in front of you. He is very knowledgeable about the areas he photographs and his photography.

Last night we had an excellent talk given by Clive Watkins. He was giving us his take on street photography and it was very informative and inspirational. Clive has excellent presentation skills and his talk was enjoyed by all in attendance.

Tomorrow we have an excellent speaker, Clive Watkins who is going to talk to us about street photography. Clive gave it to a couple of years ago which went down really well with members, he also commented on some of his post processing techniques.

If you are thinking about joining us tomorrow would be an excellent opportunity to see a really good speaker. Don’t forget you can come along to join us for three meetings before joining to see if you like what we do.

Last night we were entertained by Eddie Telford who was telling us the 'Photography should be fun'. He took us through an amazing number of images showing how much he enjoys his photography. A very relaxed and enjoyable evening.
