Further to th earlier post about the public consultation; Dundas Developments wish to re-submit the above proposals following rejection by both WLC Planning and the Scottish Office Reporter.

They are having a pre-application public consultation on 8 Jul 2026, 6:00pm - 8:30pm, Livingston Village Community Education Centre, Livingston Primary School, North Kirkton Lane, Livingston, EH54 7EQ.

HELP REQUIRED:
For historical reasons the "Square" in Livingston Village does not belong to anyone including West Lothian Council, therefore the Council does not officially maintain the area. They do occasionally prune some shrubs and they seem to cut the grass. A few members of the Community Council plant and maintain the raised beds and do some regular maintenance. So, everyone, feel free to carryout the odd bit of weeding, general tidying, or introduce a new plant that you may be thinning out in your garden or is surplus to you requirements. There is no procedure to follow, so if you have the opportunity and want to help keep the village attractive just do your thing.

TRADING STANDARDS
On Monday 8 June between 10.00 – 2.00pm Council officers taking part in National Campaign to raise awareness of SCAMS. They shall operate a stall at Almondvale Centre (outside Boots) together with Police to raise awareness of SCAMS and rogue traders.
