We have highlighted some of the opportunities that Anuka took part in during her Rokadiya Fellowship. In addition to these Anuka also attended the NHS Tayside Global Health conference, participated in a seminar on public health initiatives, and attended NIHR SCRiPT and PIP research study meetings/webinars. So much packed into 3 weeks! We will miss Anuka but we know it's not a goodbye as we will meet again in the future!

It was an absolute privilege hosting Anuka for the Rokadiya Fellowship. We laughed so much we cried and my colleagues and I have made an amazing friend with connections that will last a lifetime. Anuka gave me a beautiful Newari dress and made us some delicious food. We had a great time getting photos and having patients come up to ask us questions about the traditional Newari outfits.

Happy Birthday to Rokadiya Fellowship team member Shambhunath!! We had a great time celebrating and delighted Anuka our current fellow could join us!

We got snow ❄️! Our Rokadiya Fellow, Anuka, got to go out to experience her first ever snow! I'm delighted that we got to share in this magical experience with her. Thank you to our colleague Suchi who notified us of the snow in her village so we could drive there for this lovely walk before it melted!! We warmed up with a lovely hot chocolate and cake.

We are soo excited to welcome Dr Anuka Dangol to Scotland for the Rokadiya Fellowship! Anuka is a dentist from Nepal who has started a 3 week placement at the Dundee Dental Hospital observing in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry. We've been having a great time, and had so much fun that we forgot to take photos for the first few days! Today we went to St Andrews for a day trip to see the sea and historic buildings. More updates to follow!
