It would be even better if people didn't drop it

🐾🌿 Litter picking helps to protect the wildlife on our doorstep

This , let’s remember that any piece of litter dropped on the ground can have consequences for animals and the natural world.

From plastic and food waste to discarded fishing line, litter can injure wildlife, pollute habitats and threaten biodiversity.

We can all do our bit to protect the environment we share with wildlife. 💚

Unfortunately, the number of people doing this in Gateacre has dwindled.
So I think there's about 6 of these blighters for today's pick

Back again for another litterpick this Saturday - 4th July, 11am, meeting outside the Black Bull.

I’m expecting a fairly big turnout this Saturday. We have equipment, but if you have a grabber already, please bring it.

Also, no harm in asking. Does anyone have pressure spray or something that we could use to clean the cobblestones up at all? I’d really like to do something about them.

Afternoon Folks,

Four of these blighters filled today

Thank you for your help

Happy picking,
