Alert !!! Long post but truly from my heart. I cry writing most of this,looking back on half the Year gone 2026, too many have passed,during so many happy memories too.
My STAFF are truly the BEST there is and many outside my Team will Agree 👍 Patricia Rooney Carole Rowan Kim Evans Hilda Hughes & Robby,Bella and all our volunteers (Mum)
"APPRECIATION POST" myself and my Team are grateful to see each year through 🙏 with ALL our Teams from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Club. Some seasons are complete and other Sports league are almost finished..
Whether it is 1 of our x 7 TEAMS. POOL,SNOOKER or (Both) LADIES & GENTS DARTS Teams.
We are grateful and to also host many
SEMI & FINALS COMPETITIONS for Darts,Snooker and Pool..🎯🎱
Having 5-8 past weeks of Darts and Pool FINALS. No time to stop and this is what keeps us on the Map and OPEN for Business..
Thankyou EVERYONE (this is A SPORTS)thanks Please other groups, don't take offence, I have thanked all on previous posts..amd will do again.
Finally it has taken myself 3 weeks to accept and acknowledge 🙌 that the Woman, Matriarch,the (Rottweiler) known throughout the Liverpool POOL 🎱 League.
sorry Anne Meadows it breaks my Heart to write this 💔💔 has passed away.
I could write a Eulogy but I won't..
Simply the Best you are Anne Meadows ❤️
🎱🎯 I am now the woman you have educated, passed on your skills and knowledge to, in Playing Pool. You have told me when I chose the wrong shot and congratulated myself last year and more this year,to say how much you felt I had improved and I was doing you proud and you would always step up a level or I would claim victory over you 🎱❤️..
To say I and our 2 POOL & 2 DARTS Teams are left with a broken-hearted, is an understatement. You will be forever sincerely missed,the Rock of our team and Pool league.
Myself and our teams,will continue to do you proud. God bless anne, it doesn't seem real.
As I spoke before my holidays and you said you wasn't going anywhere,whilst I was away..
(I didn't realise, you really meant those words) and 6 hours later after our landing at Liverpool Airport.
I tried to get to yours asap and you had taken your last breath. You are free from illness and no more pain and being in hospital.
Rest in Peace Anne Meadows 🙏 💔 x
There is only One Anne Meadows.
The league will never be the same without you but we will continue of course x🎱🎱🎱
