Today is the start of Volunteers' Week, and we would like to thank you our Boys' Brigade volunteer past and present for everything they have done and do within The 46th Boys' Brigade.

We wouldn't be able to provide children and young people with such important opportunities to learn, grow and discover in a safe and caring environment without the dedication and commitment our volunteer leaders do.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, which this year has the theme 'Action' - chosen because, while awareness is vital, real change comes when we take action too.

We are proud to have partnered with YoungMinds, the UK's leading charity for children and young people's mental health, and throughout 2026 we are encouraging BB groups to take action by holding events and activities to raise funds to support YoungMinds' vital work, as well as understanding around mental wellbeing.

By working collectively, we're aiming to raise an incredible amount of money for a worthwhile cause, whilst also equipping children and young people with a greater understanding of their own mental health and how to support others 🙌
