On this day in 1931, the Toffees went goal crazy in a 9-3 defeat of Sheffield Wednesday. The irrepressible Dixie Dean scored five with. Critchley, Johnson, Stein and White also on target. Everton went on the win the league.

Wishing Graeme Sharp a very happy 66th birthday. The striker, signed from , scored 160 goals for the Toffees and helped the club to win four major pieces of silverware.

Our Matchday Heritage Centre will be open from 9am on Saturday, prior to our match against Chelsea. We'll have our usual mix of excellent stalls.
& supporters are welcome to visit. Find us via our Fulton Street entrance.

Great night at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the launch of Merlin’s photography book. He spoke extremely well, and eloquently described his purpose behind the book, plus the stories behind many of the images.
In great company too with many of The Everton FC Heritage Society members, numerous friends, staff, and plenty of great photographers, several of whom took part, and contributed to the exhibition in St Luke’s in our final year - and continue to document the club in all it’s facets. Merlin also stayed another hour and signed every book for all fans, patiently waiting in a very long queue. A really enjoyable evening, and we wish Merlin good luck with his new venture, and success on and off the field.
