Absolutely amazing news. I am so pleased that this beautiful building is saved for many generations to come. It’s been a long process for me personally, starting the save woolton picture house go fund me back in 2020 and then the periods of silence and not knowing what was happening, why the cinema had not reopened, constantly defending myself re the money raised. And then the amazing Kevin Fearon and Gillian who took the reigns with a band of willing volunteers, with people who brought their skills, knowledge and hard work the dream has come true.
