We are here to support our community in whatever way that we can� Due to Government cutbacks, as from April 1st 2014 Swanside Community Centre will be run as a charity by volunteers from our community, volunteers with a passion to keep the Community Centre open for the people of our community. We already have some great events and classes that have been up and running for years and some great plans in store for the future. We would like to thank everyone for their continued support in keeping Swanside Community Centre available to all in our community. At the moment we are continuing to support Malvern school with breakfast club each morning and also to support front line workers. We are also supporting our community & beyond by delivering food parcels, delivering meals to isolated & vulnerable peoples homes, food shopping, prescription pick up, phone call support, chatting & singing on door steps.. we call this heart lifting and we aim to support and lift as many hearts as possible throughout this pandemic & beyond. Our aims are to make people aware that they are not alone because Swanside is here to support them in any way that we can�

We are supported by Felix for some of our food & Knowsley council .. but we do need your help so we can continue with our support .. so please donate .. if you can .. if you get in touch I will tell you what we need but at the moment it is everything❤️

Just letting you know that we are starting up a social supermarket..
we are still sorting things out ..
But we will open up tomorrow ..Wednesday 30th September 10-12pm..
You can buy 10 items for £5…
We haven’t got a full shop at the moment but it will be worth your while .. its open to everyone, so come along and take a look and please bring your own bags❤️

A friendly reminder to all our Breakfast & Afterschool Club families 💛

We completely understand that things can sometimes be difficult financially, and the last thing we ever want is for anyone to feel uncomfortable speaking to us.

However, we do need to ask that all outstanding Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club fees are brought fully up to date.

If you are unable to pay your outstanding balance in full, please come and speak to us. We are more than happy to work with you and agree an affordable payment plan. We would always much rather have a conversation and find a solution together.

Swanside Community Centre is a charity, and the fees we receive from our clubs are really important in helping us cover our costs and continue providing these services for local children and families.
These fees are literally what keep Swanside open🙏🏻❤️

Unfortunately, where fees remain outstanding and no payment plan or arrangement has been made with us, we will no longer be able to hold that child’s place and it may need to be offered to another child who is waiting for a space.

We really don’t want it to come to that, so please speak to us if you are having any difficulties. All conversations will, of course, be treated privately and sensitively.
Also can parents and carers please let us know if their children are attending any afterschool clubs this term? And if you need us to pick your children up afterwards?
We need to know numbers as we do have a waiting list.
We also have limited spaces available on Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays.

Breakfast & Afterschool clubs are back as usual tomorrow folks❤️
Please let us know if there are any changes for afterschool pick ups? Or if your children are attending any school clubs..

Lots of plans in the process for the coming weeks 👻Halloween will be here before we know it and we will be delivering are usual witches & wizards clubs through the October half term🎃
But we just need a little more sunshine first🙂
