✨ Being a volunteer with Merseyside and Cheshire Bikes is incredibly rewarding!
We help to save lives daily by transporting blood, breast milk, medical supplies, and samples across the region at NO cost to the NHS. That's right—it's all free, saving precious funds that would otherwise go to taxis.

All our riders, controllers, and fundraisers are volunteers, and we rely solely on donations to provide these vital services. We're lucky to have amazing supporters who give back to their community week in and week out!

Check out some photos of our fantastic team! The best part? We all agree it's great fun to help out!
Volunteering boosts our mental health, brings us together for a common goal, and we’ve made some wonderful friends along the way.

Want to join our band of merry helpers? We always need more hands on deck as our services are called upon more and more.

You can apply to volunteer at: www.mcbloodbikes.org

We hope to see you soon! 🌟💪

Have you seen one of our bikes on the road?
Perhaps at a hospital or a hospice you may have visited?
You may even have seen us at someone's home.
Would it surprise you to learn that we are not part of the NHS?
Would it surprise you to learn that all of our riders and controllers are volunteers?
Would it surprise you to learn that we don't get paid by the NHS for deliveries and that all of our money comes from donations from businesses and individuals just like you?
Please help us if you can.

A group of our riders represented our Blood Bike group in the Dave Day "I'm having a DAVE day!" ride out in memory of Hairy Biker Dave Myers.
The ride out saw over 40,000 bikers taking part in a ride out from Ace Cafe London through to Barrow in Furness.
The ride out raised money for charity, and three blood bike groups were the recipients of those monies.
Thank you so much to our amazing biker community.
We had a ball!
Hope you all got home safe 🤟
