Liverpool Street Handball Project The project works works with North West clubs to promote health and well-being in socio-economically challenged areas via the medium of 'streethandball'.

The project works works with LHC and other North West Region handball clubs to promote health and well-being in socio-economically challenged areas of our communities via the medium of 'streethandball'. The streethandball concept seeks to nurture self-confidence, create meaning and develop children's, youth and the communities they live in social skills through play and physical activity. It does

this in order to improve co-operation and develop their sense of citizenship in order to improve their quality of life. Streethandball seeks to make 'the global local' by creating international links between 'villages' of peoples. All those working in the project are volunteers, giving their time, skills and money to make this all possible. we are a new project just starting out, but we have a big vision and a deep passion for the game and for the people.
