Liverpool North ESU

Liverpool North ESU Liverpool North Explorer Scout Unit, part of Liverpool North District, Merseyside. Explorers are the fourth section of the Scouting movement.

Right from the time of Baden-Powell, there have been arrangements for young people who wanted to continue after their time in the Scout Section, and in 1967, Venture Scouts were formed from the existing Senior Scout and Rover Scout Sections. Times changed and so did we! Ventures where replaced in 2001 with the forming of two new sections - Explorers for 14 - 18 year olds and Network for 18 - 25s.

Since then, the smaller units which had coexisted have now merged to become one large unit within the district, strengthening our ability to support our young people of the future.
