🌊 Another busy evening for us on the water tonight. ⛵ We had cadets out sailing, others completing their swim tests 🏊, and both our Senior and Junior Boys’ teams training hard 🚣‍♂️ in preparation for the upcoming Area Rowing Competition. 💪🏆

We entered two teams into the District Rowing Competition, and both teams came away with Gold Medals! An incredible achievement and a true reflection of all the hard work, dedication, and teamwork shown by our cadets.

Yesterday, cadets and staff had the honour to attend the funeral of Able Seaman John Dennett BEM. A WWII veteran who with distinction performed a key part in the DDay landings in 1944.

Along with fellow cadets from Sea Cadets Merseyside West we were delighted to stand proud alongside the Royal Navy from HMS Eaglet

It was truly a pleasure to meet the family and friends of AB Dennett and hear about his life long commitment to supporting Veteran and Youth within the community.

Tonight we marked the end of an incredible journey for LC Ioana as she turns 18 tomorrow.

Having joined Sea Cadets at just 10 years old, tonight marked her final night with us. We wish you every success in the future, a very happy 18th birthday 🎉, and you’ll always be welcome back anytime

A huge thank you to for visiting our unit this evening. They gave our senior cadets a fascinating insight into the equipment they carry, both on their person and in their vehicles, and explained when and why it may be used. The officers were also happy to answer lots of great questions from our cadets. An extremely informative and engaging visit!
