If you want to get more confident on a bike you are welcome to join one of our Cycle Skills sessions starting in April.

The sessions start at Greenbank Sports Academy and are led by Stella and Neil who are members of our club and qualified cycle instructors.

Bikes and helmets are available to borrow for free.

There are 3 levels of training:
* Learn to Ride - learn to balance and pedal
* Traffic Free - gain confidence with gears, brakes and steering
* Quiet Roads - gain confidence cycling on the road

We're also running 2 cycle maintenance workshops where you'll learn how to look after your bike and how to fix minor issues. The workshops take place at Lark Lane Community Centre.

To book onto a session or workshop:
* Tap on 'Groups' and Aigburth CCC
* Tap on the session you want to join
* Tap on 'Send message to hosts' asking to join the session

If you know someone who'd like to do any of these training sessions but they're not on Spond yet they can join by following these instructions:

UPDATE: at our meeting on Wednesday Community Support Police Officer Nick Bernard informed us that a second person had been caught damaging cars and that following an interview a community protection notice (CPN) will be issued against them. Nick will share full details of the CPN with residents which we will also post on Facebook and our mailing list.

Nick was greatly helped in his investigation by the community assistance he and his colleagues were given and encouraged residents to continue to share details of non urgent incidents via their website https://www.police.uk/pu/contact-the-police/report-a-crime-incident/ or by calling 101.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The information recently shared with Merseyside Police has identified two different people causing damage to cars within the Lark Lane area.

One of the people identified has been receiving threats and is now himself a victim of a crime. To help the Police whilst they continue to investigate these in incidents we have removed the posts relating to these crimes and request that residents please resist taking matters into their own hands.

If you, or a visitor, has had their cars damaged please report it to Merseyside Police and if you have any footage that might help please share it with them.

Community Support Police Officer Nick Bernard intends to attend our next Community meeting on Tuesday 24 February 7pm-8.30pm at Sunflowers where this and other matters can be discussed with him.
