Day 3, the final day, of the Sand Dune and Shingle Conference 2025 is underway! The event is hosted by Liverpool Hope University in the spectacular’Great Hall’ of the ‘Creative Campus’. Delegates from across Europe are presenting the latest research and management techniques to advance our conservation practices for these endangered and beautiful habitats.

Day 2, a day in the field exploring the north Wirral coastline - loss, gain and change. Concrete, sediments, over mature dune vegetation, brilliant pioneer vegetation, golf and natterjack toads. What a day. Thank to the delegates at our Sand and Shingle Network conference, based at Liverpool Hope University.
