Great to welcome Councillor Heather Westhead to this week’s Fabric District board meeting.

We had a lively and productive discussion on how we can continue working together to champion the district — celebrating the businesses, creativity and community spirit that make it one of the most exciting places in the city.

Belonging: Liverpool for the Sensitive, the Creative & the Brave ✨

On Sunday 3rd May, there’s an opportunity to join a FREE soulful walking tour of Liverpool, which includes a part of the Fabric District – and it’s not to be missed.

The reflective walking tour explores how grief, resilience and imagination has shaped the city, walking through lesser-known nooks of Liverpool and following the stories of:

❤️‍🔥 working-class creativity
🔍 overlooked lives and hidden histories
🌼 soft rebellion, imagination and reinvention
🌱 the quiet power of those who feel deeply

This is not your traditional facts-and-dates tour, but a story-led walk, with space to pause, reflect, and see the city differently.

Expect rich storytelling, a relaxed pace, optional reflection, and a warm small group!

If this sounds like something you’d like to take part in, meet Suzy at 11am on Angel Field, Shaw Street Liverpool.

It was great to meet so many new faces, local businesses, residents and supporters, and to make some brilliant new connections and introductions. We loved chatting about the exciting regeneration plans for Monument Place and London Road, and even had a few four-legged guests join in on the fun!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the event such a success.
