We are so sad to say that Pat Horner, a supporter of the JRD Foundation from the beginning, has sadly passed away. She was a wonderful, caring, and loving lady who was a big part of the JRD Foundation family. Pat continues to support the Foundation even through her passing with donations made to the Foundation, instead of flowers. Pat was one of a kind always thinking of others and loved very much by Joshy's family. We hope you are enjoying a cup of tea and pie and mash with your Ted. Always in our hearts 💕

JOSHY'S EXTENSION UPDATE
From the outset of the JRD Foundation the intention with regards to the funds raised, was to provide, at the appropriate time, a series of adaptions designed to make Jishy's homelife future proof. We are now in a position to be able to uodate the JRD Foundation followers on a number of key developments to Josh's living quarters that will completely allow for Josh's needs moving forward. Towards the end of 2025 the foundations were dug, and then it done nothing but rain, to provide Josh with a brand new extension at ground floor level of his existing home. This has resulted in a much bigger personal space for Josh, in the form of a new bedroom and shower wet room and toilet. This now means that Josh does not have to use the stairs in his day to day homelife, which can and does make him tired. He now has his own separate front door. There is a ramp which goes from the front garden along the side of the house to his front door and then down to the back garden. There has also been a number of changes to the existing house for easy access such as widening the door frames. As you can see in the photos the stages of the work and the completion. You can also see the scale of all the work involved and as you can imagine there was a lot of disruption to Josh and his family until its completion. The success of this has been completely due to everyone's love and support of the JRD Foundation, so thank you all so very much from Josh and his family. This could not have been made possible without you all and to see Josh's face in the photos say it all. Xx
