🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT: MORE EXCITING NEWS FOR L8! 🚨
We are absolutely over the moon to share that we have ALSO been awarded a £3,000 grant from Sage! 😭💚
While our National Lottery funding keeps the main stable gates open for the community year-round, this special grant from Sage allows us to do something completely unique.
🌟 INTRODUCING OUR SAGE SUMMER HOLIDAY INTENSIVE COURSES FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN L8! 🌟
We know how long and expensive the school holidays can feel, and we want to give local children a focused, structured escape right here in the heart of Di**le.
The Di**le area experiences high levels of deprivation, and with rising living costs, standard riding lessons are simply out of reach for most local households. Thanks to Sage’s support, we are launching an intensive course of FREE riding lessons exclusively during the school holidays to directly support low-income families in the L8 area. This project is designed to remove every financial barrier and use the magic of ponies to help young people reduce anxiety, build massive confidence, and improve their mental wellbeing.
What this unique holiday project will deliver:
✨ 120 completely FREE riding lesson places for low-income L8 residents.
✨ Focused 45-minute sessions run in small, supportive groups of up to four.
✨ Hands-on learning that combines riding skills, pony care, and stable management.
✨ A safe, calm, and predictable environment to learn and make friends outside of school.
Every single penny of this £3,000 grant goes directly into funding these holiday places, our brilliant instructors, and essential pony care. 🐴
