You know me from , , or in other ways. This is not a self-pity moan; it is a genuine cry for help from you.
At present, my life’s work over the past 40+ years is in danger of collapse, mainly because of my own fight over the past 3 years against life-threatening blood cancers, which has included more than 12 months in hospital and a further 6 months bed/housebound. This meant that most of my energy had to be directed towards my health and recovery. Sadly, Yellow House suffered as a result - funding has fallen by 80%, and finding new funds is becoming more difficult. I cannot give up my important work - I am back now with Yellow House, supporting our young people.
You have always been tremendously supportive.
NOW we need your support more than ever. I/we have around 1,500 followers on SM. I need to be clear and direct: I am asking as many of my friends as possible to donate (at least) £5 per month by Direct Debit/Standing Order for Yellow House services supporting Neurodiverse, isolated, and lonely young people. If you are already making a monthly donation, I thank you from my heart and soul.
