To celebrate YPAS’s 60th birthday, our incredible community came together - schools, staff, service users, families and our amazing Therapist Rosy- to create something truly special🎶

We learned, laughed and sang our hearts out to Bill Withers’ Lean On Me - a song that couldn’t fit our values better if it tried. 🤝💛

Thank you to everyone who joined a session, raised their voice and helped make this 60th birthday one to remember. You’re the reason YPAS shines so bright. ✨

🌿 In May, YPAS’s Chat 'n' Chill group for parents and carers enjoyed a scavenger hunt, walking from the YPAS Central Hub to the Albert Dock while exploring the 👀👂👃👅✋ five senses.

The session focused on the theme Be Mindful / Take Notice, one of the Five Ways to Wellbeing. 💚

Parents and carers really enjoyed the session, with one participant sharing:

💬 "I found the group to be very welcoming, relaxing and informative. Really nice group to be part of."

📅 Our June session will focus on Managing Behaviour and Communication and will take place on Wednesday 24 June, from 10am–12pm, at the YPAS Central Hub.

We’re creating a very special YPAS community garden to celebrate 60 years of YPAS 🥳🎉 and our North Hub has been entered into North West In Bloom! 🌸🏆

Our judging day is 22nd June – please wish us luck! 🤞💚

This is our FINAL call 📢 for anyone with spare:
🪴 Plants
🪑 Garden furniture
✨ Ornaments for our sensory fairy garden
🌱 Compost, seeds & tools for our veg patch (that the children will use!)

Donations are also welcome after 22nd June – because we take our green spaces seriously and want to grow opportunities for children & young people across Liverpool 🌍💪
