What a fabulous, amazing celebration of 10years of Kinship Carers National Awareness Week, we know its now International with so many other countries celebrating around the world. Kinship Carers has been in existence for over 25years in different forms, still going strong, still campaigning for change for all Kinship Families and long will we continue to strive to do our best for our wonderful families.

We had an amazing coffee morning, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kinship Carers National Awareness Week, lovely carers, refreshments, Bocca (chair bowls), speakers from LCC, Post Order Team, Fostering and Adoption shared this very special day with us, it was good fun with a serious note.

Well done to faith and Issac who travelled to London with their carers Mandy and Pat and mingled with professionals and policy makers at the kinship ambassadors event. I believe Mandy spoke to the room and the others had good conversations with professionals in the room. This dosnt go unnoticed and without the voices of our carers and young people we wouldn’t be where we are today very proud of you all ❤️
