Moving Senses - Positive Futures

Hello, my name is Paul Lowe (https://www.instagram.com/littlelowey) and I’m going to walk 480 miles unsupported from my home in Liverpool to John O Groats in Scotland.

I’m doing this as my friends have a beautiful little boy named Callum who is 9 years old. He has non verbal autism, adhd and focal epilepsy. They are great parents and every week they take Callum to a place called Moving Senses - Positive Futures in Huyton, Liverpool. This is a place that provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for young people with special education needs and disabilities. This allows parents to have respite for a few hours while the children play, make friends, interact and build social skills.

Raising money for this group will allow more children and families to benefit from this setup and as they don’t yet have a building of their own and have to hire places this money would be a big help.

One of the absolute highlights of the last 6 months has been getting to know Carmen at Moving Senses - Positive Futures. She's a fierce advocate for kids and families in need of help and support. Whatever happens this week, I hope we've made some small steps toward helping Moving Senses. Carmen and her team provide essential support to so many families - thanks to the whole team for everything you do in the community.

If elected this week I'll do everything I can to be in the corner of Moving Senses and the families they support.

A few weeks back we announced that the amazing ladies at Four Brits Book Fest Jo, Holly, Anne, Layla and Amo chose our charity to raise funds for our amazing children and young people. Today we found out just how much these amazing ladies raised with the help of a great group of authors and readers.

They raised a total of £600, not forgetting one of our wonderful young people Ava Dooley who created a beautiful painting raising £65 for this.

£665!!! 👀🙌🏻🎉🙌🏻

We cannot Thank the ladies and everyone else involved who raised this money. We are truly grateful and blessed.
