Getting towels/blankets found on Crosby Beach ready for animal rescue centres. This is the amount of sand washed from one of the towels. This particular towel was soaking wet and caked up in sand. It took six rinses in a bucket before I could safely put it in the washing machine. 💪

Trying to take a positive from the litter tsunami, after another clean of the beach this morning these towels and blankets will be cleaned and donated to a local animal charity 🐕

We’ve been out tonight. Thanks to the family who helped me out in the dunes when I was struggling and for the thank yous from a few others 💗 Feeling defeated 😔

Did a spot of solo beach cleaning yesterday. Was nice to see lots of people enjoying our lovely Crosby Beach ☀️⛱️
Only three small bags of rubbish collected, dished out quite a few bags to beach goers. If any of you good people are going for a walk and come across discarded beach toys please collect them and temporarily keep them. We are trying to bring back our Beach Toy Library 🙂
