Jude's had a fantastic intensive physio week with Drew from SDR Progression Performance Centre. We were so pleased with how much more confidence by day 5 he had pushing up to high kneeling. Drew gave us lots of great advice and his focus on building Jude's confidence and taking away the fear showed us how much potential Jude has - lots of ideas for the future 😁💪🌟

Just a little update on my SDR operation today. The surgeon said it went well. Painful, but nothing a bit of Morphine can't help with. I have to stay horizontal for a few days and Physio starts on Monday - Finger crossed 🤞.

We are made up that we have now raised over £25,000 for Judes SDR Operation and, following some delays for various reasons, we now have a date in place with Alder Hey for 1st November.🤩

The pre-op physio is going well 💪and Jude is regaining the strength and control he lost following his hip operation in May.

A massive thanks to everyone who donated 🤗 with a special thanks to Steve and Paul at Piano Fan Dance 🎹and also the Liverpool Marine Engineers Guild⚓️. The generosity everyone has shown means everything to us. 🥰🥰

We raised a fantastic £1270 at the Quiz Night for Jude last night 🤩 😁😁
Massive thank you to Grandad Norm for putting together a great quiz and hosting the night, big sister Heidi for her hard work selling all the raffle tickets, the generous local businesses and friends who donated the raffle prizes and all my family and friends for coming along 🥰🥰

We spent yesterday at Alder Hey where Jude had an operation on his hips. The surgeon was really pleased and confirmed his hips are stable enough to start pre-hab physio for the SDR operation 🥳.
We have a provisional date booked in for 5th July - thanks to everyone for all your support. We'll be doing some more fundraising events over the next few months so watch this space xx
