Sunflowers Sunflowers is an independent charity which supports local people living with and beyond cancer, and their families.

Sunflowers provides a unique support service to individuals and families affected by a diagnosis of cancer, or other life changing illness, in the Merseyside region. We provide advice and guidance services, counselling, complementary therapies, group support sessions, art and craft therapies, exercise classes and much more, all in a welcoming and safe environment.

🐷 The pig & whistle liverpool is a fantastic example of a local business partnering well with a local charity.

We realised our counselling services could support local people working in hospitality, as it's an industry that can have difficult hours, and long shifts, which can bring stress into other areas of life.

Pig & Whistle realised that proceeds from their popular merchandise sales could help to support some of the services that we provide at Sunflowers. 🌻

Sharing our resources, like talking therapy and group support, is a way for us to give back to the local community that has supported us for many years.

When you help out locally, your community thrives, and local businesses thrive too.

We are delighted to have a partnership with The pig & whistle liverpool in Covent Garden, Liverpool, where Bobby Dix donates funds from profits made on the pub’s merchandise to Sunflowers, and in turn, the staff can access resources and services at Sunflowers.

Collaboration between businesses and charities in Liverpool is a way to share resources, and improve wellbeing and support.

A HUGE thank you to fundraisers Iain and Nico for their 24 hour Pawty dog walk fundraiser! 🐶

Along with support from their family and friends, they walked from 8am on Saturday 3rd October to 8am on Sunday 4th October, raising money for our services, particularly the counselling support which Iain is a huge advocate for.

They raised over £2400 over the weekend - thank you everyone for all your support. 🎉

A dedicated space for men, where you can talk, be listened to, and become a more authentic version of yourself.

Led by Yinka, the group will have a non clinical approach, designed for men to support themselves and each other.
