Day 1: How to Save Energy at Home 🏡

🧺 Use washing machines, dryers and dishwashers with full loads
💡 Switch to energy-saving LED lights
🔌 Turn off or unplug equipment when it’s not being used

Through our Empowering Communities for Energy Resilience programme, funded through the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme, we’re helping households better understand their energy use and access the support they need.

We offer telephone and virtual advice, home energy advice visits, in-depth advice appointments, community energy workshops and energy-saving kits for eligible households.

Together We Inspired Change: Celebrating the Success of the Women Empowerment Conference: Empowering Women – Building Nations

The Global Visionary Women Network (GVWN), in partnership with Voice of Nations, extends its sincere gratitude to every speaker, panellist, partner, volunteer, and participant who made our most recent Women Empowerment Conference: Empowering Women – Building Nations an outstanding success.
Held virtually on 30th July 2026, the conference brought together women from across various nations around the globe. Together, we created a truly global platform for learning, encouragement, collaboration, and purposeful leadership.

Under the theme "Empowering Women – Building Nations," the conference challenged women to recognise their value, embrace their leadership potential, and understand the vital role they play in strengthening families, transforming communities, influencing institutions, and contributing to national development.

Throughout the evening, delegates were inspired by transformational and thought-provoking keynotes, practical leadership lessons, meaningful networking and authentic testimonies that encouraged women to lead with confidence, integrity, wisdom, and purpose.

The overwhelming response from attendees has been deeply encouraging. We received an outpouring of positive feedback from women who described the conference as transformational, empowering, and life-changing. Many shared how the event renewed their confidence, expanded their vision, strengthened their leadership capacity, and inspired them to take intentional steps towards fulfilling their purpose and creating lasting impact within their families, organisations, communities, and beyond.

This remarkable response reinforces the Global Visionary Women Network's commitment to creating platforms that equip, empower, and connect women across nations to become influential leaders and agents of sustainable transformation.

We are especially grateful to our distinguished speakers for generously sharing their knowledge, experience, and wisdom, to our partners and volunteers for their unwavering support, and to every participant whose presence, engagement, and contribution made the conference such a memorable occasion.
