We’ve been backing creative and digital businesses in the Baltic Triangle since 2009 🤝

With 118,000 sq/ft of workspace across the area, we are part incubator, part developer, part innovator. We employ a relaxed management style and a flexible approach to contractual relationships that start-ups – especially creative ones – need. We maintain a flexible approach to how our spaces come together and grow, which means we can continue to flex around tenants’ changing needs.

As a Community Interest Company, we put every penny of profit back into our buildings, our tenants and the sector. It's a model that works and has been recognised as best practice for the creative and digital industries nationally.

🎤 The Creative Cities Convention rolled into the Baltic Triangle
🎂 We celebrated 17 years of Baltic Creative CIC
🏆 We welcomed undergraduate marketing students from Liverpool John Moores University to collect their certificates and prizes for having the best marketing campaign
🌺 Our incredible Facilities Manager, Tom, planted up fresh blooms outside 92 Degrees for us to enjoy all summer long

Our McKeown Rice Exhibition Space opened on Jamaica Street in 2014 and has become one of the most photographed spots in the Baltic since then.

It was opened as a tribute to Clare McKeown and Paul Rice, who were founding members of Baltic Creative and instrumental in developing our vision.

For well over a decade, the space has provided a canvas for artists, expertly curated by Castle Fine Arts Foundry.

Huge congratulations to Steve Levine and Lewis Borg-Cardona, whose BBC World Service Radio Program “Paul McCartney Beatles and Beyond” won two awards at the NYF Radio Awards 🏆

The program won a gold tower award for the Biography/Profiles category and a silver tower award for Sound at the radio equivalent of the Grammys, and it was all recorded and mixed in their Baltic Creative studio.

World-class work is happening right here on our doorstep 👏

The Creative Campus transformed Jamaica Street when it opened back in 2012 and has given the creative and digital sector a home in the Baltic.

It spans 17,000 sq ft and is home to 18 spaces and dozens of businesses. It features studios, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, 92 Degrees coffee shop, breakout spaces and a garden corridor, all under one roof.

This is where ideas meet people who know what to do with them 💡

Known for bold, considered work across a range of styles, the studio has built a serious reputation both locally and beyond. They regularly host international guest artists, so if you’ve been thinking about getting tattooed, this is a good place to start.

We loved working with undergraduate marketing students from Liverpool John Moores University Business School on their live consultancy project, and welcomed back the Momentum Marketing team to collect their certificates and prizes for being the winning team.

The Momentum Marketing team took on the brief, and Lynn Haime, who judged the work, said their presentation, depth of detail, and thorough research into Baltic Creative, alongside a range of practical and innovative ideas, made them very deserving winners.

Thank you to the team at Liverpool Business School for including us in this kind of live, real-world work, and congratulations to Jude Walker, Kate McGarry, Macy Fitzpatrick and Rachael Hemingway.

A huge happy 20th birthday to Agent 🥳

Agent was the first tenant in our Creative Campus back in 2012, and we’re so happy that they still call Baltic Creative CIC home. CEO Paul Corcoran rented out our 4,000 sq ft space with just a team of 10 at the time and promised to fill it, and he absolutely has, while championing the creative sector across the North West.

Now, the company has become a B Corp and runs their own academy for young creative talent, and it’s been a pleasure to watch its journey. They embody exactly what the Baltic Creative is about - good people doing exciting work, and a genuine belief that creativity can do something worthwhile.
