Happy 4th Birthday to all of our amazing volunteers!

🙌🏼 3000 people these past 4 years.

That’s roughly how many 🏘️ local residents we’ve been able to offer free or deeply discounted essentials 🛒🧻 to.

All because of every customer that accesses our commercial services 💁‍♂️

When you hire space ☕️🛜 from us, have an event here 📆, take an office 📤 or even use our free hot desking facilities 👩‍💻

You’re contributing to helping your local community 🙏🏼

And yes, we did print my face on a cake 🎂 , along with our of our faithful volunteers past, present and future!

🎉🎉Happy birthday, Maggie’s! 🥳🥳

Our Story

Welcome to Knowsley Storehouse We are a not for profit venture, developed through a partnership between the Apostolic Church, Fareshare and other agencies. We aim to provide everyday goods to people on low incomes for a low-cost membership fee. We do this by purchasing goods using the proceedings of membership and obtain food through charitable donations, such as school harvest festivals and food collection bins. We also support and provide locally grown fresh produce and harness the power of bulk buying to purchase goods at discounted prices. Knowsley residents can become members of their Food Storehouse and choose up to 15 items from a variety of groceries, fresh fruit and veg, toiletries, and cleaning products. All for just £2.50 membership fee per weekly visit. The average shopping basket is worth £15 at retail value, so a weekly visit could save you over £650 on your food bill each year. To join the Storehouse, you need to fill out a Membership Request form that can be picked up at the Maggie O’Neill Community Resource Centre. Terms and conditions apply. Membership - Must be 18 or over - Members must be from Knowsley unless permission has been granted from the organisers - Only one membership per household (if more than one family lives in the same household, please speak to us as we may be able to offer memberships for each family unit) - There are a limited number of memberships - When the membership limit has been reached, further requests will be added to a waiting list. If you are put on this list, you will be offered a membership when a place becomes available. - Membership is non-transferable - Members can visit the Storehouse once a week - Membership subscription is £2.50 per visit. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse membership. Examples include: You do not use the Storehouse in a two week period (unless you have told us in advance) You moved away from the area You are found to be abusive towards Storehouse staff/volunteers. - If membership is cancelled due to non-attendance, you can reapply, but if no membership is available, you will be placed at the end of a waiting list. - Membership is reviewed every three months - If you lose your card, there is a replacement fee of £1. Using the Storehouse - Please try and bring your own bags - You must show your membership card as required when visiting the Storehouse - You can visit the Storehouse once a week and can choose up to 15 items. - Available items will change each week but will be divided into categories - To give all members an equal and fair share of the stock available, we may limit some items to one pair customer. - Items are subject to availability, while stocks last - Where products may be stocked past their best before date, with damaged labelling or with no labelling at all, it is the responsibility of the member to decide whether to take these products at their own risk.
