Our Story
Welcome to Knowsley Storehouse
We are a not for profit venture, developed through a partnership between the Apostolic Church, Fareshare and other agencies.
We aim to provide everyday goods to people on low incomes for a low-cost membership fee. We do this by purchasing goods using the proceedings of membership and obtain food through charitable donations, such as school harvest festivals and food collection bins. We also support and provide locally grown fresh produce and harness the power of bulk buying to purchase goods at discounted prices.
Knowsley residents can become members of their Food Storehouse and choose up to 15 items from a variety of groceries, fresh fruit and veg, toiletries, and cleaning products. All for just £2.50 membership fee per weekly visit.
The average shopping basket is worth £15 at retail value, so a weekly visit could save you over £650 on your food bill each year.
To join the Storehouse, you need to fill out a Membership Request form that can be picked up at the Maggie O’Neill Community Resource Centre.
Terms and conditions apply.
