Spent the day with Oliver Jude at the Do Business Better Conference 2026 which was organised and lead by the brilliant Ellie Carr Merseyside Women Of The Year . If you run or own as business or are a sole trader then you will know how busy life can be running your own thing. The highs and the lows, the competence needed not just the confidence and also the skill sets needed for each area of a business to excel.
Today’s event and speakers touched on all factors or what it takes to run your enterprise from legal, finance, the importance of networking, inspiring others, knowing your self worth and self belief, how to use Ai and not be scared of it either and much more, every speaker was so informative and I have taken so much away from the day, not just from a business way but also a personal one too and one of the things that was mentioned was us women always putting ourselves last including our own finances but how important it is for us to prioritise this as we don’t know what is around the corner.
It was great to see what others are doing from, private, public and third sector within our City 👏👏👏👏 we are so lucky and we all need to be more aware of what is available within our great City, listening to the stories of the Liverpool current and historical business innovators.Wow.
Also great to meet up with so many organisations we have not only partnered with over the years but some we have supported too with AHFO.
What a brilliant, positive, informative and inspiring day.
Thank you Ellie Merseyside Women Of The Year
