At Phalanx today the LWA put on Ramillies 23rd of May 1706, using Black Powder with over 1200 figures,
The game rattled along, with the French being shocked at the speed of the Allied infantry advance across the stream and marsh, and the Allied weight numbers on the cavalry wing quickly proved to be unstoppable, the game went more or to history, The Duke of Malborough greatest of victory.

One of members has said of these figures "I've been wargaming for over 50 year, and I've always had a soft spot for Greenwood and Ball, Minifigs and Hinchcliffe, these 25mm figures designed in the 70s don't look to shabby using modern painting techniques,
Working on the cavalry and dragoons".
