Daisy Inclusive UK Daisy Inclusive UK - award winning disability led charity breaking down the barriers of disability.

Dave Kelly is a blind man with a vision, a vision of inclusion for all disabled people. By using reverse inclusion young people with disabilities can learn new skills through sport, education, and social activities while meeting new people and creating new friendships. Sports on offer include:
- Blind and partially sighted football,
- Inclusive cricket
- Wheelchair based sports (basketball, rugby)
- Inclusive goal-ball
- Inclusive new age curling,
- Boccia,
- Athletics

Daisy UK also offers training in disability equality, legislation and motivational team building. We also offer consultancy on access audits and building access statements.

A week in mid Wales, what more could you want? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We took our beneficiaries on a fun-filled residential stay at Dolly Hall in Powys last week, and we had the best time.

We visited King Arthur’s Labyrinth, made a camp fire, spent plenty of time outside, and managed to dodge the rain too! ☔

Residential stays are a wonderful way for our beneficiaries to build their confidence, spend time seeing new places, and strengthen the friendships they have made at Daisy Inclusive. 🫶

Today dome of our ladies went into town to have an independent living experience with some of our staff to promote them living independently catching the bus,going shopping and having lunch all things most people take for granted everyday. Ut really helps to boost their confidence and gives them the feel good factor they need

Do you know what The Living Well Service is?

It’s a service that was made after listening to communities and aiming to meet our needs by bringing the right services to us. 🤝

It's delivered by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust , and operates on a fully drop-in basis to provide health checks, and mental wellbeing support.

Come along on 9th October and have a drop-in health check at Daisy UK. You’ll also be entered into a raffle to win a £25 Asda voucher when you attend! 🎟️

A sensory garden isn't just a nice-to-have. It's a space that welcomes everyone in. 🌳

It can be a calm space when things feel overwhelming, a space to feel grounded, or just somewhere peaceful to get away from the noise of the day.

We are always adding to and improving our sensory garden, and it is a part of Daisy that we are really proud of. 🫶
